xn38vt is a heat-resistant iron-nickel alloy with high nickel and chromium content and additions of alloyed titanium and tungsten. It is used for parts that operate under moderate load in a temperature environment of up to 1000 degrees Celsius. It is often used in the manufacture of gas pump units. The alloy xn38vt is smelted in both open arc furnaces and vacuum arc furnaces.

The heat-resistant alloy xn38vt contains 35-39% nickel and 20-23% chromium and can therefore be used to manufacture wear-resistant products. The addition of titanium and tungsten increases the hot strength of the steel. The alloy is used for the manufacture of parts for gas pump units.

The alloy xn38vt and its foreign equivalents have high corrosion resistance in acidic environments and are also resistant to pitting corrosion, which is particularly dangerous for construction steels.
