xn38vt is a heat-resistant iron-nickel alloy featuring high levels of nickel and chromium, along with alloyed titanium and tungsten. It is designed for components that work under moderate stress at temperatures up to 1000°C and is commonly used in the production of gas pumping equipment. xn38vt is produced using both open arc and vacuum arc furnace methods.

This alloy contains 35-39% nickel and 20-23% chromium, providing excellent wear resistance. The addition of titanium and tungsten enhances its heat resistance, making it suitable for manufacturing parts for gas pumping systems.

xn38vt and its international equivalents offer strong resistance to corrosion in acidic environments and are highly resistant to pitting corrosion, which can be particularly problematic for structural steels.
