V2A flat bars are made from non-rusting austenitic steel with high chromium and nickel content and low carbon content. They are not susceptible to acids, corrosion and have good processing properties. Stainless steel flat bar cut-to-size can be welded well with all electrical methods. In a welded state, stainless steel flat bar 1.4301 is sensitive to intergranular corrosion.

V2A flat bars are well polishable and deep-drawable and have good heat resistance up to 600°C. Thanks to their excellent properties, they are very popular in various fields.
