Description:

Brass strip with material number 2.0321 consists of approximately 62-64% copper, about 34-37% zinc and roughly 0.5% accompanying components. The material has excellent processing properties and can be easily polished, cold-formed, welded, and soft- and hard-soldered. CuZn37 has good corrosion resistance against water, water vapor and various salt solutions. The grade is diamagnetic and shows no para- or ferromagnetism.

Brass strip CuZn37 is in high demand in various industrial sectors, for example in electrical engineering (contact parts, coils and windings), as a welding and soldering strip, and in jewelry making. Other applications of 2.0321 are:

• decorative work.
