This brass tape, produced by Evek, is made from alloy 2.0321, which contains approximately 62-64% copper, 34-37% zinc, and small amounts of other elements. It offers excellent workability, making it easy to polish, cold form, weld, and both soft and hard solder. CuZn37 brass exhibits good corrosion resistance to water, steam, and many salt solutions. The material is diamagnetic, meaning it does not display para- or ferromagnetic properties. Brass tape is widely used in electrical engineering for contact parts, coils, and windings, as well as for welding and soldering applications, jewelry making, crafts, modeling, and decorative work. Key features include high electrical and thermal conductivity, a melting point of 1083°C, density of 8.4 g/dm³, and excellent processing qualities. The chemical composition primarily consists of copper and zinc, with minor additions of lead, nickel, iron, tin, aluminum, and other elements. Sheet metal blank dimensions have a tolerance of +/- 2mm for both width and length.
