2.4602 (2.4635) is a low carbon (approximately 0.01%) nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy filler metal. The 2.4602 welding wire is characterized by excellent corrosion resistance and good weldability, especially on carbon steel. No pre-heating or post-heating is required. Due to the excellent corrosion resistance, the weld metal is suitable for build-up welding on steam generator tubes.
