Titanium Grade 1 is unalloyed commercially pure titanium with material grade number 3.7025. The mass share of titanium in this grade is between approx. 99.6 and 99.8%. The material offers high ductility and good cold formability. Titanium from this material grade has medium strength. However, it stands out for its high corrosion resistance, notch impact strength, and good impact toughness. In addition, this titanium is characterized by excellent biocompatibility. 3.7025 has a tendency toward hydrogen embrittlement, and for this reason the hydrogen content for this grade should not exceed 0.008%. Titanium 3.7025 can be welded very well and is not magnetic.
