xn35vt is a heat resistant alloy with high nickel content and added tungsten. It is classified as difficult to weld. It is most commonly used for flat springs, washers or rotors and other parts that operate at temperatures up to +650 °C.

The heat-resistant steel xn35vt is produced in a standard range and any available dimension can be ordered and supplied by us.

At a temperature of 650 degrees Celsius, the material is slightly susceptible to corrosion: the corrosion rate is 0.014 and 0.020 mm/year when exposed to air and steam respectively.

The steel is not susceptible to pitting. Resistance to stress corrosion cracking in chlorinated water is maintained.
