When manufacturing stainless steel threaded rods, non-rusting austenitic steel with material number 1.4301 is used. It contains chromium and nickel. The material is extremely robust, resistant and stable. It has a low carbon content and is insensitive to corrosion. Stainless steel threaded rod is acid-resistant and easy to process, such as welding, polishing, grinding and machining.

Threaded rods can be used under temperature load up to 600 °C. It is also suitable for low temperatures. It has an attractive appearance and can therefore be used for decorative purposes. Stainless steel bar has particularly good formability: it can be deep-drawn and bent without any problems. Solid stainless steel may not be used in swimming pools and in seawater, and it is not resistant to chlorides.
