1.4404 threaded rod is an austenitic stainless steel composed of chromium, nickel, and molybdenum. This stainless steel has a low carbon content and is excellently resistant to non-oxidizing acids and chloride-containing media. The material is not susceptible to intergranular corrosion, is easy to process, including welding and cold forming. Furthermore, it is suitable for use at temperatures up to 550°C. However, the temperature for continuous operation is 300 °C.
