The 1.4404 threaded rod is made from austenitic stainless steel containing chromium, nickel, and molybdenum. This grade features low carbon content, exceptional resistance to non-oxidizing acids and chloride environments, and is not prone to intergranular corrosion. It is easy to process, weld, and cold form. Suitable for use at temperatures up to 550°C, with a recommended continuous service temperature of 300°C.
