V2A flat bars are manufactured from austenitic stainless steel with a high chromium and nickel content and low carbon content. They are not susceptible to acids or corrosion and have good processing properties. Stainless steel flat bar can be easily welded with all electrical processes. In the welded state, however, stainless steel flat bar 1.4301 is sensitive to intergranular corrosion.
