Description:
Round steel 1.4571 is a non-rusting austenitic chromium-nickel stainless steel with the addition of molybdenum and stabilized with titanium. The steel grade has good resistance to corrosion. Due to the titanium content, it also offers good resistance to intercrystalline corrosion both in the welded condition and during continuous operation up to 400°C. The maximum operating temperature is +550°C. The steel has good forging properties and excellent weldability.
V4A round steel is well suited for cold forming, but it is not polishable. It has good processing properties and, above all, high stability in high-temperature ranges. The steel can be used at low temperatures down to -50°C.
