V2A sheets are made of stainless austenitic steel with a high chromium and nickel content and a low carbon content. They are not susceptible to acids, corrosion and have good processing properties. Stainless steel sheet can be easily welded with all electrical methods. In the welded state, however, stainless steel sheet 1.4301 is sensitive to intergranular corrosion.

V2A sheets are easy to polish and deep-draw and have good heat resistance of up to 600 ° C. Thanks to their excellent properties, they are very popular in a wide variety of areas.
