Description:
Solid wire for the nickel-based alloy 59. It is matched to the nickel-based alloy, which is generally known as alloy 59. The high Mo content is similar to alloys C276, but performance is improved in a wide range of more oxidizing media in alloy 59 by significantly increasing Cr to 23%. This alloy also offers a tough, Nb-free weld metal for uneven welds in super-austenitic and super-duplex stainless steel or combinations thereof with Ni-based alloys. Alloy 59 is used in chemical process plants, waste incineration plants, in the pulp and paper industry, in flue gas desulphurization plants, in offshore and petrochemicals as well as in the oil and gas industry.
