For the width and length of a sheet cut, the tolerance is +/-2mm Important: sheet cuts are not suitable for decorative or visible areas. Scratches cannot be ruled out. Surface is pure industrial quality. Cut with a guillotine shear. Not all sheets are in protective foil. Haynes 188 is a heat-resistant cobalt-based alloy. The cobalt content is about 40%. Cobalt provides temperature resistance and good magnetic conductivity. Additionally, 2.4683 contains about 22% nickel and chromium as well as approximately 15% tungsten. The material is characterized by excellent resistance to oxidation at temperatures up to 1100°C. Furthermore, it remains resistant in sulfur-containing media. The grade exhibits good ductility and corrosion resistance and shows good resistance to abrasion and impact load. Alloy 188 is not hardenable but can be excellently cold-formed.
