2.4669 is an age-hardenable nickel-chromium-iron alloy. The nickel and chromium content is approximately 70% and 15% respectively. The main alloying elements are iron (approximately 7%) and titanium (approximately 2.5%). The total content of aluminum, niobium, cobalt, and manganese is approximately 4%. Alloy X-750 is resistant to corrosion and oxidation and has high heat resistance up to 700°C. The material 2.4669 has high tensile and creep rupture properties. Round bars made from alloy X-750 are resistant to a variety of industrial corrosive media under both oxidizing and reducing conditions. This alloy also exhibits high resistance to chloride ion stress corrosion cracking in the fully precipitation-hardened condition.

Alloy X-750 is mainly used to produce components for gas turbines. The material is also used for:

    • Combustion chambers of rocket engines;
    • high-temperature springs, screws, and fasteners (up to 650°C).

2.4669 provides the following properties:

      • Corrosion and oxidation resistance;
      • high creep and heat resistance;
      • very good relaxation resistance.
