L-Ag15P is a high silver content copper brazing alloy, which is composed of approx. 80% copper, approx. 15% silver and approx. 5% phosphorus. This solder wire is characterized by excellent flow properties and good electrical conductivity. The copper-phosphorus solder is suitable for soldering points with operating temperatures from -70 ° С to +150 ° С. It has high elongation and density and offers pore-free connections. In addition, this hard solder is well suited for connections subject to vibration. It cannot be used with iron- and nickel-based alloys or in sulfur-containing environments. No additional flux is required for soldering to copper. A brazing flux must also be used for brazing on brass, tin bronze and gunmetal.
