Description:
Round copper rod is made of deoxidized copper with material number 2.0090 and is a rod made of solid material. This material has a limited residual phosphorus content and is therefore very easy to weld and braze as well as hydrogen resistance. It has excellent formability.
Due to its unique chemical and physical properties, copper rod is often used as a semi-finished product. It is easy to process and is used in the manufacture of various products made of copper. Copper has bactericidal properties and even in low concentrations it has a toxic effect on many microorganisms.
Thanks to its high electrical conductivity and high thermal conductivity, copper rods are used for heating technology (radiators, heat exchangers), electrical machines (electric motors, chokes / coils) and components (terminals, contact carriers).
