Brass wire with the material number 2.0321 consists of about 62-64% copper, about 34-37% zinc and about 0.5% accompanying components. The material has excellent processing properties and can be easily polished, cold formed, welded, and soft and hard soldered. CuZn37 has good corrosion resistance to water, steam and various salt solutions. The quality is diamagnetic and shows no para- or ferromagnetism.
