This aluminum perforated sheet cut-to-size has round, offset openings. The designation Rv 3-5 refers to a hole diameter of 3 mm and a pitch of 5 mm, measured from hole center to hole center. The perforation pattern allows air and light to pass through and is an important feature when selecting cladding or a cover.

Material EN AW-1050A

The perforated sheet is made from EN AW-1050A, also referred to as Al99.5 or 3.0255. This aluminum material is easy to form and weld and has good corrosion resistance. The formability actually achievable also depends on the delivery condition. For use in salt or seawater, the choice of material should be checked separately.

Typical work with perforated sheet includes ventilation covers, technical cladding, and custom metal fabrication projects. For load-bearing surfaces, sheet thickness, fastening, and substructure must be selected appropriately. The perforation alone neither confirms a specific load-bearing capacity nor an tested sound insulation effect.

For the width and length of a sheet cut-to-size, the tolerance is +/-2 mm

Caution: sharp edges! Sheets are cut to size on a mechanical shear and the edges are not deburred. Scratches on the surface cannot be ruled out. Product photos are theoretical; the delivered cut-to-size pieces may differ from them.
