Aluminium round steel with material number 3.3206 is an aluminium-magnesium-silicon alloy. The proportion of magnesium and silicon in the alloy is below 2 mass percent. The alloy is excellent to process by extrusion, is weldable, heat-treatable (age-hardenable) and shows good corrosion resistance even in seawater. It has medium strength, high fracture toughness and good formability.
